Small domestic sewer pipes, such as those from washing-up bowls or sinks, can quickly become blocked by hair, grease and limescale. Solids then build up in these pipes, preventing the waste water from draining away.
Wöhler borescopes are particularly suitable for small diameters.
These can be used on sewer pipes with a diameter of 20 mm or more. Flexible gooseneck probes of various lengths and diameters are used, depending on the task at hand. There are even borescopes available with up to three built-in cameras, ensuring that nothing remains hidden.
Depending on the model, data is stored either on the device itself or on your own smartphone or tablet. The Wöhler app required for this is, of course, free to download. To ensure a clear view inside the sewer pipe, Wöhler borescopes are equipped with continuously adjustable LED lighting.
To inspect larger and longer drainage pipes, or to carry out a visual inspection of the main sewer or the property connection, it is more practical to use a Wöhler inspection camera.
The photos and videos are saved on the mobile device (tablet, smartphone, netbook, etc.) and can then be easily forwarded via email or messaging services.
Access to the pipe can be gained either via the removed siphon or directly through the drain. This allows the user to adapt flexibly to the conditions on site. All they need to do is decide which borescope to use. The borescopes differ in the thickness of the gooseneck, the length, and the number of cameras. This makes Wöhler borescopes a simple tool offering HD quality that is unique on the market in this form.
In addition, cavities—such as those next to sewer pipes—can also be inspected. Even through a tile joint, a visual inspection can be performed using the smallest borescope available.
